We are located right in the middle of what is known as the “maritime cluster” on the Norwegian west coast. Shipyards, shipowners and fish farmers are very important customers to us.
The shipyards and shipowners must continuously adapt to a changing market, and the aquaculture industry lives with new challenges and opportunities from day to day. What characterizes both shipbuilding and fish farming are high standards and extensive requirements and control. An area that is strictly regulated is the use of water in these industries. Whether it is drinking water on board vessels or intake water for land-based aquaculture facilities, both the removal of particles and bacteria and other dangerous microorganisms are required.
