Disinfection UV units on 400 TC SERIES use low pressure amalgam lamps. Amalgam lamps have a higher service life and higher efficiency than standard low pressure lamps. The service life is around 16,000 hours, and these lamps work perfectly at low and high water temperatures. In this UV series, powerful lamps are used and thus fewer lamps can be used. This will further reduce the need for maintenance. The horizontal configuration (due to the length of the lamp) makes maintenance work easy. Automatic quartz cleaning systems are available on all models.
